They are like the inception of peanut butter cookies, because you see, they have peanut butter chips inside of them that when baked become little pockets of peanut butter goodness that melt in your mouth when you bite into the slightly crunchy, soft exterior.
It is totally mind-blowingly delicious, and not something that you want to miss out on.
THEN, as if that wasn’t enough, they have chunky peanut butter inside of them so you get the crunch from the delicious peanuts. Don’t even get me started, you guys.
These don’t have the classic cross-hatching that most peanut butter cookies have, but look how pretty these are on their own! Don’t even need them.
Cross-hatching is cute though.
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup chunky peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 ½ cups flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 package peanut butter chips
- Preheat oven to 375° F.
- Beat butter for 30 seconds. Add peanut butter and sugars and beat until fluffy then add eggs and vanilla. Lastly, add dry ingredients and peanut butter chips. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool one minute before removing to cooling rack.
After looking at these pictures it makes me wish that I hadn’t eaten all of these already.
Guess I’ll just have to make more now.
